LIFEGUARDS
Parks & Recreation is always seeing guards who love the water, enjoy working with people and want a job where you can make a difference and literally save a life! The Lifeguard position will be responsible for ensuring patron safety at the Falling Springs Aquatic Center, which includes the indoor, outdoor and therapy pools. Lifeguards must be 15 years or older and hold a lifeguard certification. If you do not currently hold a lifeguard certification, we can train you! Click HERE for more information!
- LIFEGUARDS
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Currently hold a Lifeguard Certification or go through Parks & Recreation & become American Red Cross Certified
- Pass a background check
- We are hiring for all shifts!
- Hiring for seasonal and year-round positions.
- Seasonal positions are up to 40 hours per week for the summer only
- Part-time positions are 20-25 hours per week year round and may work year round
KIDZONE NURSERY WORKERS
The KidZone is the childcare/nursery located inside Falling Springs Center. KidZone staff are responsible for the care, safety and supervision of children ages 3 months to 9 years old while their parent/guardian attends a fitness class, lifts weights or swims. KidZone workers should enjoy young children (including infants), be energetic and creative, and always put the safety and welfare of the children first at all times.
Job Details:
- This is a year-round position
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Have or ability to acquire CPR & First Aid Training
- Pass a background check
- Ability to work one of the following shifts:
- Saturdays:
- 7:45 AM-12:15 PM
- Monday through Friday
- 7:45 AM – 12:15 PM
- 3:45 PM – 8:15 PM
- Shifts may be split based on staff availability & when the room is busiest.
- Saturdays:
- Up to 25 hours per week
YOUTH DANCE INSTRUCTORS
- Previous experience in ballet (jazz and hip hop are a plus) as a student and/or instructor
- Enjoy working with young children
- Effective communicator comfortable interacting with participants’ parents via text, email and phone
- Pass a background check
